The Management
Zavanna operates
wells in North Dakota, Texas, Alberta and Saskatchewan. However
we prefer to join with other operating companies.
To supplement Zavanna's expertise, we have established key
relationships with experts in the various disciplines (engineering,
geophysics, geology and land) in each of our Areas
of Opportunity. This approach allows Zavanna flexibility
without creating a large staff and overhead.
Here is Zavanna's management team:

Nugent
Brasher, Chairman,
is a third generation oilman who brings extensive experience
in oil and gas exploration, particularly in the application of
computerized data analysis. Nugent is one of Zavanna's two expert
users of the ExplorationStation and is a designer of its
exploration techniques. Nugent guides Zavanna into appropriate
exploration areas, represents the Company in attracting industry
partners in each area, coordinates the identification of leads
within the targeted areas, and guides the continuous development
of the Technology.
Nugent received
his B.S. in Geology from the University of Texas in 1969 and
began his professional career with Texas Pacific Oil Company
in Lafayette, Louisiana. After four years he became an independent
geologist active in the Permian Basin. In 1979 he began consulting
to both major and independent oil and gas companies on building
exploration databases. Nugent co-founded Bravo Resources in 1981
with Steve Rothman and began actively developing a microcomputer-based
exploration workstation as part of research and development on
the use of computer technology in petroleum exploration. In 1989,
the joint venture between Bravo and Prairie commenced, which
in turn became Zavanna, LLC.

Steven I.
Rothman, Vice Chairman, brings unique experience
as a systems engineer and computer software and hardware designer.
Steven created the ExplorationStation
and is involved with its utilization throughout all of Zavanna's
ventures. Steven continues to develop new systems and software
for Zavanna, and maintains the primary links to hardware vendors
and to developments in the computer field.
Steven received
his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in 1969 and his M.S.E.M. from Northeastern University
in 1972. Steven worked for the MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit
"think tank" created from the Lincoln Laboratories
of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While with MITRE,
his assignments included work with NASA Johnson Manned Spaceflight
Center in Houston and NORAD Space Computational Center in Colorado
Springs. In 1981 he co-founded Bravo Resources in Glenwood, New
Mexico, and turned his attention to the science of exploration
in the petroleum industry.

from Tulane in 1975. He began his career as a landman with Atlantic
Richfield working successively in their Denver, Dallas and Midland
offices. In 1979, he moved to Aminoil USA in Houston to work
offshore Gulf Coast and later became Division Land Manager.
In 1981 Bill founded Prairie Petroleum. Using conventional
exploration methods prior to joining forces with Bravo, Prairie
has caused 110 wells to be drilled with an overall success rate
of 46% in the Rocky Mountains and West Texas.
